When I track my own evolution through networking technologies, with a slant toward telecommunications, I can't help but make a strong comparison to hosted services. We've seen  hosted Centrex evolve to hosted VoIP solutions. Now we're seeing the beginnings of hosted enterprise business applications moving more and more toward Communications Enhanced Business Processes (CEBP).
